This series of seven pieces (I Wish You Could See Yourself How I See You) is a conjunction for my love of painting and my love for the digital art world. I combined painting on loved ones with animation in After Effects. I came upon the idea of this series while in Life Drawing three. I started to feel as if I was objectifying each subject and not seeing what was beyond their figure. I realized that everyone’s interpretation of each individual is different. This project allowed me to dive deeper into After Effects, Photoshop, Adobe Premiere and how to marry traditional art and digital art smoothly.
