Artist Statement

What do you find beautiful? Is “beautiful” the stereotypical idea that modern humans have laid out for you? Is it the perfect curves of a woman with perfect skin? Is it the moment right before the sun goes below the horizon, hitting the clouds just right?

‘Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder’ they say. What is beautiful to one person may not be to another. My work focuses on these beautiful details and sustainability of life that most walk by and don’t even take notice. My whole life I've been one to see color, texture, and light where others don’t. This translates to my design work as well. Taking an every day object and making it stand out among the rest by using ergonomic forms designed around functionality and sustainability. Giving the product optimal viewing for the consumer. Just about everything has already been designed, we are now just altering the design and improving it for certain audiences. Being able to highlight beauty in everyday products and businesses has made me the successful designer and artist I am today.
